Flowstation is an online independent music label platform.
Our ambition is to be a recognized "Internet-based music label", based on the open music model, which is strongly adapted to young gifted artists who are not publicly known.
Music download is currently a very hot topic, since it is seen as piracy of digital copyright. We see more and more debates about file sharing, more and more court actions taken against Internet users.
Technology is evolving, lifestyle is evolving. The business has to follow. Whereas major music labels want the consumer to obey their rules, we think that it is up to the labels to follow the consumer's lifestyle evolution.
For us at Flowstation we think that the use of information technologies is a fantastic opportunity for artists to showcase their talent and make contacts.
Our 2 targets are:
1. to promote young musicians,
2. to let them sell their music on Internet, through our website.
How it works:
- Everyone can listen to music on our website (by streaming).
- If a user likes your music and wishes to download your album, we ask him to pay at least 5 euros / album.
- Musicians get half of every purchases.
